Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy
After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Entry Level
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose their donation amount in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
