The British tennis star secured the biggest success of his career by rebounding from a early deficit to overcome world No 1 Carlos Alcaraz in three hard-fought sets in the early stage of the prestigious indoor tournament.

While he had earlier beaten Alcaraz on two separate matches, this victory marks Norrie's maiden victory over a reigning world number one.
